Giant Bluefin Tuna
You've seen it on TV, come try it and find out for yourself. This fishery starts getting into gear the beginning of January but really heats up about the end of January thru end of March most years. These beasts will test you and they wil break you if you let them. We are allowed to kill 1 fish a season as a sport fishery over 73" and 1 a day under 73" as the current regulations stand. Dress in layers as when we leave the dock it could be chilly, but most days it's sunshine and T-shirts as we're fishing warm temps upto 73 degrees most days.
